What's happening with NSM records?

I tried to access the NSM records site and got a bandwidth calculator. Is it being upgraded/maintenance?
Anybody have an idea?

Dirkster took the time to voice the same issues I, and many others have as well.
What was once a great site where many of us enjoyed countless hours conversing with old friends and new comrades alike is now a clunky, ill equipped site. Even the chat feature resembles 2 rusty cans and a tattered string. I don't know what the answer is but the current site is dreadful. We are entering into a time in history that will be ripe for the picking. Missing a huge opportunity like this could prove disasterous.

AN OPEN LETTER TO "NEWSAXON"......

IT HAS BECOME EVER ABUNDENTLY CLEAR THAT THE "NEWSAXON" SHIP IS SAILING OFF INTO THE SUNSET AND LEAVING MOST OF ITS MEMBERS SCRAMBLEING TO FIND A DINGY, A RAFT OR EVEN A SINKING TIRE WITH A HOLE IN IT. NEWSAXON AS A WEBSITE SHOWED GREAT POTENTIAL IN THE EARLY STAGES AS THE ONLY NATIONALST SOCIAL NETWORKING PLACE TO BE IN THE KNOW. THE "OLD" NEWSAXON WEBSITE WAS SIMPLE BUT YET FLAWLESS. IT OFFERED TRUE INTERACTION WITH IMMEDIATE SPEED AND RESPONSE.... NEW MEMBERS WERE JOINING IN DROVES. WHEN A MEMBER SIGNED ON, IT WAS A VERY ACTIVE WEBSITE THAT MADE A MEMBER WANT TO GET INVOLVED AND EXPRESS IDEAS,NEWS,INFO,ETC.
IVE WATCHED THE MEMBERSHIP DWINDLE AND THE ACTIVITY CONTINUE TO GROW ALMOST TO A STANDSTILL. I HAVE TO WONDER IF ANYONE IS STILL FOCUSING ON PUSHING THIS SITE TO REACH ITS FULL POTENTIAL? "NEWSAXON" RUNS SLOWER THAN IT EVER HAS.....THE BULLETINS THAT WERE ONCE RESERVED FOR ONLY THOSE ON YOUR FRIEND LIST DOES NOT EVEN GET POSTED OR UPDATED FOR DAYS OR WEEKS AT A TIME- IF EVER.....NOT TO MENTION THAT ALL MEMBERS CAN READ EVERYTHING THAT YOU POST NOW, THE PRIVACY FUNCTION OF FRIEND TO FRIEND IS ALL BUT DEAD. MANY MEMBERS IVE SPOKEN TO FIND THIS DISCOURAGEING. THIS WEBSITE HAS GREAT POTENTIAL, AS IT SHOWED IN ITS EARLY YEARS. BUT NOW I TALK TO MANY FRIENDS WHO ARE CONFUSED BY THE NEW LAYOUT AND FRUSTRATED BY THE EXHAUSTINGLY SLOW PAGE REFRESHING- AND CONSTANT TIME OUTS TO PUT ANOTHER BULLETIN UP, HAVING TO WAIT A HALF HOUR BETWEEN POST, JUST TO SHARE A STORY. UNFORTUNATELY MANY MEMBERS HAVE MOVED ON. I HOPE THE NSM DOES NOT LET SUCH AN INCREDIBLE TOOL OF OPPORTUNITY FALL BY THE WAYSIDE. IT WOULD BE A SHAME TO NOT REALIZE "NEWSAXONS" GREAT-PROMISE FOR THE FUTURE, LIKE IT ONCE HAD. IS IT POSSIBLE TO BRING BACK THE "OLD"-SAXON??

There used to be a way for one to view the complete catalog of comments one had made. Is there still, and if not can one be added?

It appears to me that, both, blogs and bulletins are now, both, visible to, and recieved, from the entire membership group of New Saxon? If that is correct, can a friends only exchange be created again? The new bulletin system also causes old bulletins from friends to get lost in the shuffle of everyone else's bulletins. Can a way be created to look through a specific member's bulletins?

All of my friends requests, and pending friends, have been deleted. Can we have them back, if they are still around?

In regard to the updates: is there a was to limit the updates one recieves to those of his friends? If not, I would suggest that be an option. Updates from everyone who has them public could be viewed in another place besides one's dashboard.

I am having some trouble using the feature that identifies which sent messages have been read, but that could just be me.

Thank you for any attention you might pay my thoughts, and also for promptly restoring my account after I was banned by a technical glitch.

Just go to "My Account", then, to "Settings", then to Account Settings" and underneath "Account Settings" towards the top of the screen, you will see "Cancel Account". Just click that and you're set.

Finding my posts

videos on site not working, unavailable

Why are 90% of the videos in the video section ""removed for violation," or "unavailable". I'm trying to access from France but very little seems to be permitted or available here. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

Spelling and Grammar

Glancing through profiles, I came across this message:

(name) allowed only their friend's to view their profile.

It should read:

(name) allows only their friends to view their profile.

'Friend's' with the apostrophe is a possessive term ("I drive my friend's car"); without, it is a plural ("All my friends drive my car").

'Allows' instead of 'allowed' sounds slightly better as well, though it isn't actually incorrect.

Cant upload pictures?

Everytime I try to upload a photo, it fails. It says this below the upload box:

Space Used: 14.5 Mb
Space Allowed: 10 Mb

I dont know why considering I have nothing but a profile picture uploaded, so I'm slightly confused?

Can anyone help?
