Uh-Oh. Diaper Shortage Possible After Plant Explosion in China, cause Acrylic acid is a key component of superabsorbent polymers or SAP. What happened to using Cloth Diapers?

By Akiko Fujita
@akikofujita
Follow on Twitter
Oct 1, 2012 8:16am

As so often happens, moms are left to deal with the mess.

An explosion at a Japanese chemical plant this weekend has the spectre of a global diaper shortage.

The plant in the coastal city of Himeji, operated by Nippon Shokubai Co., is one of the world’s largest producers of acrylic acid, a primary ingredient used in disposable diapers.

Powerful blasts rocked the facility Saturday, as firefighters were trying to control a blaze at one of the tanks containing the chemical. One firefighter died and 34 employees and first responders were injured in the blast.

Acrylic acid is a key component of superabsorbent polymers or SAP, which absorb large amounts of liquid. Nippon Shokubai makes roughly 20 percent of the world’s SAP and maintains a 10 percent global market share of acrylic acid. The plant had been ramping up production to meet increasing global demand, especially from China, according to Japanese media reports.

Prior to the accident, the plant in the Hyogo Prefecture manufactured 460,000 tons of acrylic acid annually, supplying clients like Procter and Gamble, which relied on Nippon Shokubai for products it sold in Asia.

Roughly 4 million tons of acrylic acid are produced in the world, with the largest manufacturers in Germany and the U.S., according to Nippon Shokubai spokesman Akira Kurusu. MORE

women in National Socialist Germany

I'm pretty new here. I found this article, albeit by a mainstream liberal source who is anti-NS ideology, but has some pretty interesting facts about women in National Socialist Germany. I didn't know Hitler gave medals to women who have large numbers of children.

http://www.germanculture.com.ua/library/weekly/aa080601b.htm

The author clearly sees Hitler's policies in a very bad light. I don't know how our esteemed white warrior women feel about these things, about these politics of gender roles. I find myself agreeing in spirit with the National Socialist policy and I'm definitely a traditionalist but of course would never force or pressure anybody to be what they don't want to be. To each their own. I know also things can be incredibly difficult and confusing in our generation and we don't always get to make perfect choices, but I think white children from good homes are especially necessary now, and I'm looking for someone who feels the same whom I can marry and love. Future? Women and children ARE our future. Let us hope they never turn against us or away from us, but always turn toward us, and we be blessed.

Keep on growing

Dad removed from Pregnancy booklet ‘Ready Steady Baby’, in UK for fear of offending gay and lesbian parents.

London The Health Service has removed the word “dad” from a pregnancy handbook for fear of offending gay and lesbian parents.

Officials decided to use the term “partner” throughout the 200-page guide, titled Ready Steady Baby, after receiving a complaint that “dad” was discriminating against same-sex couples.

“This is all part of an agenda to present as natural a type of family that cannot be created by natural means” Norman Wells, of the Family Education Trust
But the omission of the word has angered some campaigners who claim that traditional family values are being undermined.

Squandering taxpayers’ money’

“The NHS should not be squandering taxpayers’ money to advance the cause of a minority interest group.

“No matter how much effort is made to present positive images of families headed by same-sex couples, the fact remains it takes a man and a woman to create a child.”

Only given to pregnant women in Scotland
Although the guide is published by the NHS, it is given only to pregnant women in Scotland when they go to ante-natal classes. Expectant mothers in England are given a similar pamphlet, The Pregnancy Book. A spokesman for the Department of Health, which produces it, said there were no current plans to remove the word “dad” from this guide.

A spokesman for NHS Health Scotland said it had been reviewing the wording anyway and had made several other changes. They confirmed it cost £100,000 (Dh576,249) to print 90,000 copies of the new version.
MORE AT SOURCE

GET INVOLVED!

In this day and time we are all busy. Yes, we have homes, families, dishes, laundry, gotta do a garden!! So many things to get done in a day, maybe we could ask for the day to be longer? NO!
But... I do have another suggestion for my women. Get involved. Get motivated, if you can go back to school and make a difference. There are a lot of scholarships and grants to go to school on.
Get involved with your community. For a multitude of reasons this is ssoooooo important. It can show the community that we are not the "bad guys" that the media has made us out to be. We need to do this for ourselves as well. It gives us a feeling of accomplishment.
There are so many ways to get involved, and most places offer free training and other goodies. Work in the library, reading to children is one area that our library uses volunteers, work for the voting poles, this is an election year and we can make a difference. How about working at a homeless shelter or a battered women's shelter. There are so many good organizations that we can make a difference with.
Here is a thought, how about the NSM's women's group get together and start a disaster assistance corp. I have had all the disaster training that an organization can need. We could do clothes, we could do toys for kids. Think about the possibilities and let me know your thoughts. Think about the possitive press we can garner. It is a concept and one I would love to see us involved on.
REMEMBER: The longest journey starts with but a single step.

Family in need of help and fast.

My friends husband has been arrested. He is looking at some serious time. The problem here is my friend and her husband have 7 children between the two of them. They gained custody of his children because the biological mother is worthless and there is a protective order against her. Now the law is saying they are going to start looking into placement for the children. Can my friend file for legal guardianship or custody herself? These people are hard working and good parents. The children have been through enough and don't need to be yanked from the only good stable home they have had. They reside in Minnesota so if anyone knows their stuff and can help, please message me. This family has been through so much in such a short time. And on a side note, the father was arrested on stuff from his past. They are really being screwed with here.

We are here,,We are one!

April 26, 2012

Greetings sisters. We are here today to talk about how the world should and does treat us. Not just NSM women but women in general. We were created to be a help mate for our mate, Not to be a punching bag or a mental whipping post.
We must learn that we too, are human. We too have opinions and our voice should be heard. Not just because we are women, but because we are human.
There are three kinds of abuse, physical, emotional and sexual. None of these have a place in the lives of NSM women. Nor any woman for that matter. This is one of the things that set us aside, being able to say "Hey I matter! I am here to help you not to be used as an outlet for your frustration."
How many women out there can say that you grew up with abuse? I can. I always felt that I was inferior to the people around me. I knew that whatever was wrong in the world must truly be my fault. How could I ever be as good as those around me. How could I ever feel like I mattered? How could I be anything but a "stepping stone" for someone else.
And then I had children, 3 children in fact. So now I was trapped. But, I truly did not want to raise my children with the fear, and guilt that I always felt. So I HAD to make a difference. Where to start... As it is written by wiser heads than mine, begin at the beginning.
For me that beginning was education. I had always wanted to do something in my life to "make a difference" to help others. So here we go in my 30's with three4 children and back to school we go.
To get a degree in college they make you take many classes that I thought were frivolous. I mean, Psychology? Art? English? Yeah not really a fan of either of these. Waste of money if you ask me. Well, not a waste of money, not by a long shot. Made me realize many things about me. My most hated class was psychology! You guessed it, made me look at myself as I actually was. Not as a second rate citizen but as a functioning giving part of the community. I figured out that I could be a mother to my three children, a student, and I could do this without the abusive person in my life! It was to say the least enlightening! I could do this all on my own. So I separated my life from abuse. I will not tell you it was all peaches and cream. It was HARD there were times when all I wanted to do was give up, but I always had someone there to give me a boost when things were darkest.
That is my goal for the women's group.
To support each other, to be a shoulder to cry on, to be an ear to listen to. Do I advocate divorce? No, but if there is no other way to stop the abuse, to stop being called a bi##h by the person that is there to support you, if there is no other way to "stop falling down the stairs, or into walls, then, yes. I advocate counseling first and foremost. Try to find a resolution if you can, if not then yes, find a lawyer. I will try to be here when you need me. I will answer all questions I can, I will be your sister.

» Unconstitutional New York bills A343 and S384 would give children the right to consent to HPV and Hep B vaccines.

As a starting place, constituents are “one person with one vote.” If your position is one held by a minority, which is usually the case with vaccine freedom-of-choice advocates, legislative activism is an up-hill battle. But legislative activism involves the art of persuasion, since ultimately, legislatures can enact any law they have the votes for, Constitutional or not.
So, if you can tell your representative, “I don’t like this bill” and why that can be persuasive, but if you can add to that, “and by the way, youcan’tenact this bill into law because it’s unconstitutional,” you can substantially bolster your “one person, one vote” starting point.

Meanwhile, here’s a summary of some of the legal and other problems with NY’s A343 and S384:
1. They are unconstitutional. The U.S. Supreme Court has stated: “Most children, even in adolescence, simply are not able to make sound judgments concerning many decisions, including their need for medical care or treatment. Parents can and must make those judgments.”[1] Giving medical decision-making authority to children violates parents’ 14th Amendment Constitutional due process right to parent their children. When the state takes parental decision-making away from parents, it is essentially saying that the parents are unfit to make those decisions. When the state gives that authority to children, it is saying that kids are fit to make decisions that the parents aren’t fit to make. Rather absurd, isn’t it?!
source for more

With the above statement in BOLD FACE FONT, I agree with it completely, and yet that brings up another sore spot with me, it maybe a little off topic but not really. How parent’s, doctor’s and even the Government can support a parent or a doctor who think a 13 month old child can tell what sex they are or are supposed to be just on the statement a kid makes saying I’m a girl when they are really a boy or vise versa. Allowing treatments to said child of hormone blocking drugs.
To me that is almost the same as saying I was born a kitten but I know I’m a duck at that young of an age and I want you to make me a Duck. Not going to happen! Wouldn’t the above statement apply to that too? Shera~

While perusing princess dresses and stuffed animal backpacks, the mother came upon a crotchless thong sized for little girls.
http://bcove.me/84z229rn video
The mother quickly filmed a video with her phone and went to the media, which immediately resulted in Kids N Teen pulling the panties from the store. They quickly defended their merchandise however by saying that they also provide clothing for teenagers — as if a 13 year old picking out crotchless thongs for herself is completely appropriate. How desensitized are people getting towards the sexualization of children that a seventh grader picking out such garments is an acceptable line of reasoning?MORE
Tags: crotch-less thong panties for little girls

Kotex tampons recalled for bacterial contamination

Kotex tampons recalled for bacterial contamination that has also been found in baby formula

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall warning for specific lots of Kotex tampons contaminated with a bacterium that could cause vaginal infections and other health risks.

The recall is limited to two specific lots of Kotex Natural Balance Security Unscented Tampons Regular Absorbency manufactured by Kimberly-Clark. According to the FDA, both the 18 count and the 36 count packages contain tampons that were made with raw materials contaminated with Enterobacter sakazakii, a bug that may cause vaginal infections, urinary tract infections, pelvic inflammatory diseases or other health issues.

Although there have been no reports of illness caused by the tainted tampons, the FDA warns that the Enterobacter bacterium could be especially life threatening to women with preexisting illnesses or compromised immune systems—from HIV, for example.

The recall affects only the 18-count packages (SKU 15063) and the 36-count packages (SKU 15068) of tampons, distributed to specific stores between Oct. 29 and Nov. 2. The FDA says Kimberly-Clark has already contacted the specific retailers—Walmart stores in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico and Texas; Fry's stores in Arizona; and Smith's stores in Utah and Arizona—to remove the tainted tampons from their shelves.

Still, the FDA advises consumers to be cautious and check if they recently bought the Kotex tampons. The affected tampons' SKU are the last five digits on the packages' bar codes.

BAX® System PCR Assay
Enterobacter sakazaki

When Enterobacter sakazakii is present in a food sample, the genetic-based BAX® system uses the power of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to rapidly create (amplify) millions of copies of a unique, E. sakazakii -specific DNA fragment for reliable detection.
BAX® system assays simplify the method by combining all the PCR reagents you need into a single tablet, conveniently packaged inside the PCR tubes contained in each kit.
The nation of Finland has now openly admitted that the swine flu vaccine “conclusively” causesnarcolepsy, a chronic nervous system disorder that makes people uncontrollably fall asleep. The Finnish government, in acknowledging this link, says it will pay for “lifetime medical care” for 79 children who have been irreparably damaged by the swine flu vaccine. (http://news.yahoo.com/finland-vows-… )

Narcolepsy isn’t the only side effect now admitted to be caused by swine flu vaccines: 76 of the 79 children also sufferedhallucinationsand “paralyzing physical collapses,” say Finnish researchers.

Remarkably, even though the link between swine flu vaccines andpermanent neurological damage in childrenis now openly admitted by the Finnish government, there is absolutely no talk about halting the utterly unscientific ritual of injecting children with flu vaccines in the first place. Not only are flu vaccines harmful to children (as is now admitted), butflu vaccines don’t even work!A simple daily dose of vitamin D would do far more to halt influenza than any vaccine (http://www.naturalnews.com/029760_v…).

U.S. refuses to admit vaccines harm anyone
The U.S. government, of course, still refuses to admit vaccines cause any harm whatsoever. Both the government and the vaccine industry continue to push the fabricated fairy tale that “vaccines are safe and effective,” meaning they harm no one but help everyone. Yet the truth is practically the polar opposite:Vaccines harm countless millions of children each yearin ways that are usually never linked to vaccines (mild mental retardation, suppressed immune function, learning disabilities, etc.). At the same time, vaccines are all but worthless at preventing infections. Even the vaccine industry’s own research shows that flu shots only work on 1 out of 100 people, meaning they’recompletely uselessfor 99 percent of those who take them (http://www.naturalnews.com/029641_v…).

Instead of admitting the truth that vaccines cause autism, the U.S. government has conspired with vaccine manufacturers to create aVaccine Injury Compensation Programwhich essentially pays “hush money” to parents of permanently harmed children to make sure they cannot bring their claims of harm to federal courts (http://www.naturalnews.com/033635_v…).

Even worse, the medical establishment — which is heavily influenced if not downright dominated by pharmaceutical interests — absolutely refuses to advocate vitamin D as a flu prevention nutrient. Vitamin D is safe, effective and affordable. It’s available without a prescription and could save literally billions of dollars in national health care costs for just pennies per day per person. So why won’t the medical establishment promote vitamin D? Preciselybecauseit would cost the industry billions of dollars in lost profits from all the sickness and degenerative disease that is prevented by vitamin D.
http://www.newsnet14.com/images/vaccine-300x120.jpg

Of course vaccines cause autism!
There is absolutely no question in the mind of any reasonably informed person thatvaccines cause neurological damage, including (but not limited to) autism. Only the corporate-whore scientists around the world continue their charade that vaccines are not linked to autism; or that vaccines even work in the first place. Most Americans haven’t yet heard the secret interview withMerck vaccine scientist Dr. Maurice Hillemanwhere he openly admits vaccines carry dozens of strains of cancer-causing “stealth” viruses.
