- 2 cups of flour
- 1/3 cup of sugar - I used crystal sugar, not powder
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder, or one small package
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla powder, or one small package
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2/3 cup of milk, or water, whichever you prefer
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- package of chocolate chips
You can add walnuts as well, whatever you like.
Preheat the oven, to about 200 C, or 397 F (yes, I looked it up).
In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, stir together milk, eggs, butter, and vanilla until blended.
Add milk mixture and stir just to combine. Stir in chocolate chips, but not all.
Spoon batter into muffin cups. Sprinkle the leftovers of your chocolate chips onto the mixture. Bake 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of one muffin comes out clean.
Serve warm.
And.. this is how it turned out:
