I just came across a petition request. The request is in regards to a bill which seeks to include homosexuals as one of the "protected groups" under hate crime law. This would be a disaster for Christians, making certain messages and attitudes promoted in the Bible practically illegal.

People think the system is for us and still represents us! That is the biggest problem we face! The worst thing we can do is pass this around amoung ourselves and get this legislation blocked; we need to put our name behind our work - or else it would be better if this passed! People need to be woken up, they need to see who stands for what. use the petition as a means to advertise. Go door-to-door and talk to people...briefly mention who you represent (if you are in a nationalist organization, PERFECT!). Give out a flyer (for your organization) with the addy of the organization's website...put an easy-to-find link to the petition right on the organization's website, so they can log on and find the petition through your site.
If done right, this could be a great opportunity. It increases the organization's internet traffic, raises awareness about who is fighting for what and spreads the word about what these organizations really concern themselves with - unlike what the tv says.
