Surviving Nibiru

I have been asked by a friend here on Newsaxon (Buckodcelt) what I should make of these videos about the coming destruction of our world as we know it.

I am not sure what to make of it, but as of yet, I am sceptical about the humanitarian aspect of the makers arguments.

I would appreciate any feed-back from my fellow Saxonites so that I can get a broader view of this subject.

I'll bet my left nut that this does not happen. If it does, life on earth will cease to exist all together. And there for, my left nut being gone won't really matter.

Nibiru is the name given by the Sumerians (about 5,000 years ago) to a planet whose appearance, on a repeating cycle, in Earth's neighborhood casuses catastrophy. The Milky Way -- and the entire Cosmos -- is full of comets, asteroids, planets and even stars (see Nemesis hypothesis), which have erratic long period orbits and cannot be seen until they are close. Thousands of smaller bodies, and a few large ones, have hit the Earth over its 4 billion years. Same with the Moon -- look at all those craters. The real point is that the geological record shows that there's a natural cycle of catastrophic events -- impact, mega volcanos, mega earthquake, etc -- that happen on a repeating cycle. Our recorded "history" is so short, just a few thousand years, and we haven't experienced one... yet.

I read a lot about conspiracy theories. I don't know if I believe it or not. It sounds plausible but who knows? I'd rather be prepared for nothing than helpless in a catastrophe. I think it's probably 2012 hysteria which I believe is just another way of controlling people through fear. A promise of safety might be how the govt gets people to voluntarily go to the FEMA camps.

My guess is that nibiru will pass through in 2010, go through the Milky Way, cause darkness for a day or so, and then all will go back to normal.
