Recently read Harold Covington's book and I recommend it. Not only is it a gripping story, but it presents a well thought out idea how an independent white state could be created in the northwest of the present United States. To my mind much better than either of Andrew Macdonald's novels "The Hunter" or "The Turner Diaries".

And here's my review on Amazon:
A very credible story of revolution, August 15, 2010
What I found so convincing about this book is the detail with which it describes how a future revolution could take place in the Western world, a revolution to throw off the present established order in the northwest of the US and replace it with a republic more favourable to European peoples. The other reason I found the concept realistic is that it is becoming ever clearer to the indigenous peoples of so-called Western democracies that since the last war the electoral system has achieved little more than the expenditure of massive effort and expenses resulting in disillusionment in our elected governments.
Getting back to the book, at times it is hard to remind oneself that the plot is only a potential scenario. This since when the day comes for radical change as it surely must the actual situation triggering change will be something other than what anyone can predict today. That said from where I am on this the eastern side of the Atlantic it is increasingly looking like it will be the southwest of the United States that will break away from the Union and not by white folks but by the actions of the descendants of Mexican immigrants. Possibly though that will be a catalyst for the secession of the northwest and this is indeed what Mr. Covington depicts in his novel. For this reason I find his plot very credible.
At times in places the language is a rather strong and for a reader this side the pond I had to make frequent use of the Urban dictionary (on the Internet) to know, for instance, what a `Beaner' is.
In the end I suppose what is important about a novel is that you are gripped by the plot, by the characters in the story and by the author's obvious background research (in this case into recent armed revolution) and that you are not happy till you have devoured every word.
If any New Saxon members are also on Facebook I would like to ask you to open the 'page' above entitled "The Brigade" and when there hit the 'Like' button.
Thanks!
Awesome book! I also liked it on facebook. Thanks for making that.
Best off reading the series. There is really no set way to read them but different ones deal with different people and how they saw things happens The only one that happens after we win is The hill of the ravens.
