I totally agree on both counts. We have our fair share of white trash around here, with the alcoholic couples especially. When volunteering at the soup kitchen I witnessed a lot of white women with drinking problems who had husbands with the same problems. Some I became a bit close to and we'd talk. The majority would say things easily summed up by 'he comes home drunk, he hits/yells/hates me, but he's happy drinking. What am I supposed to do?'.

I think this way of thinking, lowering the standards of what they percieve as a man and allowing that to become an excuse, just fuels the fire. I also see a connection between this way of thinking and seeing how many of their sons become wiggers and their daughters become coalburners.

I supervise many of the ghetto women in my current job and it is a definite culture shock to say the least. One was going on about how she had to subdue her 16 yo son b/c there was shooting outside her house and he wanted to go someplace. First, the notion that shooting is normal is ludicrous. Second, if you set a standard for your children at an early age, there is no need to be violent when the child is 16. Sadly, the typical Negro mother seems to have little regard for her children, something I consider unnatural. There are those who do care, as I have seen many Negroes who "act White" in my lifetime who have raised decent children outside of that vicious culture of the "African American" experience. However, the average typical Negro female needs to take charge of her role as the primary caregiver of her children... the first problem is not holding the Negro male to a high standard. This also occurs among low class White women - not holding men to a high standard.

I never understood that aspect of excuses. If a person 'has religion' and knows the Lord then why would they do the crime in the first place? To then turn around and say 'you kin lemme outta jails cuz I be all saveded annn sheeeeeeet'......

I'd rather let them rot.
