I don't have any firsthand knowledge of the groups in question, I have comrades who speak highly of, and those who mock, both.

However, one fact is clear:

if you take a look at the freedom 14 youtube videos, you see successful articulation by well disciplined whites, dressed proffesionally, abandoning unnecessary historical relics in favour of a mainstream white American image.
