Chicago police arrested WGN reporter Dan Ponce and WMAQ photographer
Donte Williams Saturday, saying that they were “creating a scene”
outside of Mount Sinai hospital.
>>>>>VIDEO<<<<<
The two were covering the fatal shooting of a six-year old girl and,
though they were already across the street, the officer demanded they go
another street over.

“Fuck news affairs, I don’t care about news affairs. Forget news affairs,” he said.
When the journalists spoke to their rights, the officer replied, “Your
first amendment rights can be terminated, if you’re creating a scene, or
whatever. Your first amendment rights have limitations.”

After the journalists responded, “how have we created a scene? This is
what we do for a living,” the officer replied, “Your presence is
creating a scene.”
Ponce and Williams maintain that they never went into the hospital.
Ponce elaborated on Sunday, saying, “What upset me about last night was
this was not an active crime scene…This is in front of a hospital.
The reporters and photographers were standing on the median sidewalk
when the officer started yelling at us, telling us to get further away.
We decided to take a stand.”

A police report says otherwise.

“We removed two individuals from the hospital at the request of hospital
security guards, who asserted that the individuals had tried to go past
them into secure and private areas of the hospital. The security guards
declined to press charges and the individuals were released.”

Though it is very possible that the journalists attempted to enter the
hospital— their video appears to be edited— does that warrant the police
officer’s graphic response, and his threat to “terminate” the first
amendment rights of the journalists?

According to a report and post at The Libertarian Review, fully armed soldiers from the Minnesota National Guard, Unit 2-136 CAB (B Company) were photographed patrolling the streets of Crookston, MN.

Although the report seems authentic,theintelhub.com is attempting to verify this report. Readers from the area with first-hand knowledge of Minnesota National Guard patrolling the streets is encouraged to contacttheintelhub.com at:tips@theintelhub.com

The source of the photograph is reportedly a woman named “Maggie”.
When approaching the troops to take photos, one of them commented, “Just training Ma’am – Joining up with another patrol at the rally point.” Another troop, when asked what he was training for commented, “To be honest ma’am, I don’t know.”

This is classic compartmentalization. Taking orders without question is a hallmark of the military. Not long ago, theintelhub.com posted an article asking, “Will U.S. Troops Fire on American Citizens?”

One should be gravely concerned as this kind of military planning and exercise occurring more frequently – events are progressing by the week.

On Tuesday, InfoWars posted a report of this ‘event’ and stating that “Guard members previously hunted insurgents in Iraq”. MORE AT SOURCE

Army Convoy Heading Towards NATO Summit As Chicago Law Enforcement Prepares For War With Protesters

Chicago police and security personal are set for what they seem to believe will be a full scale battle with protesters during this weekends NATO Summit.

With numerous protest groups set to launch widespread protests throughout the weekend, the police state is out like never before.

In a move eerily reminiscent of the Soviet Union and East Germany, multiple activists were arrested and literally disappeared just days before the summit.
An article published by RT quoted a National Lawyers Guild spokesman in regards to the pre crime arrests:

Hermes adds to the Tribune that “there’s absolutely no evidence of wrongdoing,” and that law enforcement officers were simply trying to make the activists “disappear” days before police expect major anti-NATO protests in Chicago.

“We were literally calling all morning and all afternoon to try to contact these people,” Hermes says. “That’s why we used the term ‘disappeared.’ ”

In a separate statement offered to an NBC News station in Chicago, Hermes adds,
“The city has so far not indicated the reasons for the raid, what they are charging the protesters with, nor provided any evidence of wrongdoing”and that the NLG was still seeking a copy of the search warrant used in the raid.

“Preemptive raids like this are a hallmark of National Special Security Events,” Sarah Gelsomino of the National Lawyers Guild and the People’s Law Office adds in a press release.

“The Chicago police and other law enforcement agencies should be aware that this behavior will not be tolerated and will result in real consequences for the city.”

The search warrant was not shown to those arrested for 4 hours after the arrest and was missing a signature from a judge. (making the warrant completely illegal)
Meanwhile, security services (the FBI and Secret Service) are planning to jam cell phone towers throughout Chicago in order to disrupt first amendment protected protests.

Chicago attack victim Natasha McShane contracts super-bug

Natasha McShane, from Armagh, who was attacked with a baseball bat in Chicago this summer may be at risk due to an infection she contracted in hospital in Northern Ireland.

The post-graduate student had been flown from the U.S. to Belfast’s Musgrave Park Hospital after having brain surgery.

McShane’s father Liam, told the Belfast Telegraph, that he now “feared the worst”.after she got the superbug He told the paper that he fears his daughter will die from this infection after surviving the vicious baseball attack over the summer.

The Belfast Health Trust released a statement saying that it has reduced health care associated infections by 30 percent in recent times and said that it is impossible to totally eradicate them.

Her world — once filled with possibility — has shrunk to the size of her parents' living room, where, in the afternoons, she sits in a chair by the window.

On a good day, she might point to what she wants or offer her parents a smile. But she cannot speak, dress herself or go to the bathroom without assistance. And so there are days when, her father says, "she just cries."

Then, her parents cradle her and whisper: "You're OK. You're OK."

Natasha McShane is back home in Northern Ireland. She is safe and protected and doted on by her loving parents. But she is not OK.

WGN VIDEO: After Two Years Bucktown beating victim can't walk or talk.

The last year has offered no respite from the surgeries and struggles that have plagued her since a brutal mugging in Bucktown, which occurred two years ago this coming Monday.

"You think she is going to get better, but it actually gets worse," said McShane's father, Liam, speaking by phone from the family's house in Siverbridge, County Armagh, and describing what his daughter's life is like now. "You think, 'In six months she'll be doing this or be doing that.' But the months pass and there is no progress."

Two years ago, Natasha McShane was an exuberant 23-year-old exchange student, working on her master's degree and out for a night to celebrate an internship that would allow her to extend her stay in Chicago.

She and a friend, Stacy Jurich, were walking home from a bar at 3:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of North Damen Avenue when, according to police, they were struck from behind by a bat-wielding mugger.

McShane, who stands less than 5 feet tall, took the brunt of the beating and was left bleeding and unconscious on the sidewalk. Hospitalized for months, she initially made small but steady steps toward recovery. In July 2010, when she left Chicago by air ambulance, she had begun to eat again, walk with assistance and speak a few words, family members say.

But, in Northern Ireland, a surgery to replace a section of her skull resulted in a serious infection. Then came a bout of seizures, followed by fluid building up around her brain. She regressed quickly, and soon, she could no longer walk or speak.

Bat Attack Suspect's Dad: She's "a Good Person"
But Marcy Cruz has history of mental problems, wasn't on meds, father says

Nothing makes me more angry then the actual crime but parents and friends of the assailant always saying....OH they wouldn't do that, they are a wonderful caring person, mean while they a dressed a thugged out and have a rap sheet prior to said crime a mile in a half long. Also why isn't or hasn't this case gotten nationwide or world wide attention like they Trayvon case? What happened to the two women was entirely worse. Oh that's right they are 'WHITE' explains it all beautifulnightmare~

In Chicago, police arrested Heriberto Viramontes, 33, a reputed gang member, who, according to prosecutors, had seen the two women as "easy targets." Marcy Cruz, 27, had driven him to the area, waited in a van and smoked a marijuana-stuffed cigar during the attack, according to prosecutors. Held at Cook County Jail, Viramontes and Cruz each face 25 felony counts, including attempted murder and armed robbery. No trial date has been set.

Back in Northern Ireland, Natasha McShane has just enough movement on her left side to hold a teacup. The only word that she can say is "shin," but no one knows what it means. "Shin could mean a hundred things," said Liam McShane.
