A Houston-area man has been accused of grabbing an 11-year-old boy and biting him on the face.
Records show 70-year-old Abdus Sattar of Spring has been charged with injury to a child in the July 14 incident.
Authorities say the boy told investigators he was riding his go-kart when a man flagged him down. A criminal complaint says the man grabbed by the boy, kissed him and bit his cheeks.
The child ran away and told his parents, who called authorities.
Asst. Chief Deputy Mark Herman of the Harris County Constable's Office said Monday that the boy suffered facial bruises. Hermann says Sattar told investigators he spoke to the boy but never touched the child.
No publicly listed phone number could immediately be found for Sattar, who's free on bond.

The President of Chick-Fil-A, Dan Cathy, is a vocal supporter of traditional marriage. He said that the company was “guilty as charged” when it came to backing “the biblical definition of the family unit.” That was enough to set off radical gay groups, who have now organized a National Same-Sex Kiss Day … inside Chick-Fil-A restaurants. And Boston Mayor Thomas Menino has said that he will block the building of a Chick-Fil-A in Boston.
Both of these measures are inappropriate. Chick-Fil-A has no reason to tolerate any sort of sexual activity at their outlets; they have every right to eject patrons who wish to make their stores into political action centers. And for a political figure to pledge to use political power to stop the building of a private business that isn’t breaking the law is purely tyrannical.
This is the new political America, where bullying runs rampant. Chick-Fil-A had never discriminated against gay and lesbian patrons or employees. There are no allegations that it had. But that won’t stop people from invading its places of business to make political statements. And that won’t stop liberal heavy-hitters from discriminating against it using the power of government.
